University of Alaska Anchorage police and Anchorage police are asking for your help finding a missing UAA student.

UAA police say 28-year-old Marko Chesto Lemtukei was last seen Sunday around 7:15 p.m. near the campus library.

Lemtukei did not return to his home on 42nd Avenue that evening, UAA police said.

UAA has released a surveillance photo of Lemtukei from that evening. Surveillance shows him wearing blue jeans, white running shoes, tan coat with navy blue sleeves.

Officers said he wasn’t wearing a winter coat and fear he may have wandered away from school and succumbed to the elements.

The student is 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and speaks with an African accent.

Marko Chesto Lemtukei is a Kenyan national who joined UAA’s cross-country running team in 2008.

If you have any information, then you can call University police at 786-1120 or Anchorage police at 786-8900.

I thought when you braved the elements, you took a GPS or some kind of safety device to track you. Maybe a bear or moose attacked him.Could be out there enjured.Pray for the best, hope he is found.
