Every Thursday KTVA CBS 11 heads down to Anchorage Animal Care and Control to meet our Pet of the Week.

Morning Show meteorologist Eric Snitil had the chance to meet not one but two cats looking for a good home.

No you're not seeing double. Well, maybe you are, but you shouldn't be. There are in fact two cats here.

Meet sisters Nessis and Fluffy. To help tell them apart, Nessis is the fluffy one, and Fluffy is the non-fluffy one.

These two six-month-old cats are just starting to discover the world and that means everything is fun to them.

Take Eric for example. He was just hanging out at Anchorage Animal Care & Control like he does every Wednesday looking for someone to play with.

All of a sudden, channeling her inner Napoleon Dynamite, Fluffy came over to play a friendly game of tetherball. You can only imagine you won.

They can still cuddle, just in short doses until something that moves gets their attention.

And don't worry- Eric has got the whole black cat superstition thing covered.

If one black cat is unlucky, then two black cats must act as a double negative. So if you’ve got two black cats, it must be a positive.

Animal shelter workers hope that the two sisters can be adopted together, but we're told Nessis and Fluffy would do just fine on their own. They are each $62 to adopt.
