Troopers Investigate Car Crash in Trapper Creek

Talkeetna State Troopers say the single vehicle accident occurred before 11PM Friday night near mile 4.8 of Petersville Road.

Talkeetna State Troopers are investigating a single vehicle accident that killed a 40-year-old woman.

Troopers say the crash occurred just before 11pm Friday night near mile 4.8 of Petersville Road.

Troopers say the 40-year-old woman was driving her Dodge pickup when she lost control on a downhill curved causing the pickup to roll and collide into a tree.

The woman died en route to the hospital from the injuries she received in the crash.

Troopers say they will release her name after family members have been notified.
