Psychological Support Resources in Wake of Parade Death

According to the board of directors of Identity, Inc., the Psychological Services Center at UAA will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 2, to help individuals seeking psychological support related to the death of James Crump, the man killed during a Pridefest parade in downtown Anchorage last weekend.

Counselors will be on hand to meet with people individually as well as in a group therapy setting at 12:30 p.m. Extended services will also be available at no cost for anyone in need.

The PSC is located in the Social Science Building at UAA in room 259.

Directions:

  • Take Northern Lights Blvd. to UAA Drive
  • Turn left on Alumni Drive
  • The Social Science Building is the first building on the right.
