Alaska State Troopers are blaming cold weather for the exposure death of a twenty-three-year-old University of Alaska Fairbanks student last Tuesday.

Kimberly Marie Rychnovsky's body was discovered outside a home in Fairbanks. According to Troopers, she was not dressed for the cold.

The national weather service says temperatures were around fourteen below zero at the time the body was found.

A toxicology study is being performed to see if drugs or alcohol were involved, though investigators believe the woman was outside on her own will.
