Registration Deadline Nears for Municipal Election

Anchorage voters must be registered at least 30 days before a municipal election to participate.

If you want to vote in this year's Regular Municipal Election, today, March 6, is your last chance to register to vote and update your voter registration information.

Absentee voting for the municipal election will take place between March 21 and April 4 at City Hall and at the Loussac Library. It will also be available at the Chugiak Senior Center between March 27 and April 4.
 
Only two locations will be available for absentee voting on Election Day: the Anchorage International Airport South Terminal and UAA's Student Union.
 
If you need to register to vote or update your voter registration information before the deadline tonight, you can do so at http://ltgov.state.ak.us/elections/ot.php.
