The Anchorage Park Foundation and the Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up for the Youth Employment in Parks program.

This is the program's fifth year and its goal is to give youths ages 16 and up a chance to gain valuable job experience while aiding their community and getting back to nature. Youth employed in the program are able to choose between leading recreational programs and working on park improvements.

If you would like to learn more about the program and how to apply, visit the Anchorage Park Foundation’s website at http://www.anchorageparkfoundation.org/projects/YEP.htm
