With more than 100,000 people on the national organ donor list, families say receiving an organ is more than a donation—it’s a gift of life. “He waited two and half years for his heart, critically sick,” said Trisha Stockwell whose son Sean received an organ. “[He was] so sick we had actually lost all hope.
