Man and Moose Die After Collision36-year-old Michael Carlyle Died on SceneALASKA – One man and a moose are dead after a collision Tuesday afternoon. At about 12:54 p.m. Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle fatality on Fairview Loop near Knik Goose Bay Road. After arriving on scene it appeared that the moose died on impact and 36-year-old Michael Carlyle flew several hundred feet. He died on scene. According to troopers, Carlyle, of Wasilla, was wearing a helmet. His next of kin has been notified. |
