Leave it to an incompetent federal beaucracy to fold to a nitwit fringe group of similarly idiotic twits. "Dogs wouldn't volunteer to run"? Dogs don't volunteer to do anything but eat. I've seen many sled dog races, and every dog is having a great time, loving the run.

No one has the right to interfere with an Historical Event that saved so many lives. PETA does not know what they are talking about and I/we (my husband is a Major Airline Pilot for over 25 yrs) are appalled that the TSA is so short-sighted. But then, after being so close to the Federal end of the Politics involved, their CEO'S all worry about their images. Read some Books on the Iditarod list located in the online store.
