Every week KTVA CBS 11 heads down to Anchorage Animal Care & Control to meet out Pet of the Week.

Last week we brought you Columbus—the explorer kitty.  And providing the ying to Columbus' yang, the jelly to the peanut butter, the dog to the cat is… well, a dog.

Meet Doby. She’s the canine version of exploratory animals with a nose that she knows how to use it.

“She's curious about everything,” said Brooke Taylor of Anchorage Animal Care & Control.  Although Doby was shy when she first arrived at the shelter, Brooke said she has warmed up quite a bit and her shyness definitely wore off when the cameras turned on.

“Now she just wants to see everything the world has to offer,” Brooke continued.

To bring her home, Doby is $152 to adopt which includes her spay deposit, license, vaccinations and microchip.
