ALASKA - Chock up another one to Google Maps... The street view pictures never cease to be a source of entertainment.
This latest picture shows some people gathered outside a store in Sitka, Alaska. Google’s automatic privacy settings worked to blur out the peoples’ faces, but if you look closely it may have worked a little too good. It seems that the identity of the stuffed bear next to them is also being protected.
Google tells us that their face and license plate blurring technology is automatic. We guess this will give people – and animals – a little peace of mind if they see the Google car drive by.
