Fish and Game Confirms Wolf Death2010 teacher's death near Chignik Lake confirmed by DNA testing
A new report released Tuesday by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game is confirming a teacher who died in March of 2010 while jogging was killed by wolves.
32-year-old Candice Berner's body was found near the village of Chignik Lake on the Alaska Peninsula. At the time wolves were the prime suspect in the attack. Fish and Game's investigation concluded from DNA samples from Berner's clothing and from dead wolves that two to four wolves were most likely involved in the deadly attack. Alaska State Troopers shot two wolves and contacted trappers who later killed six more within 15 miles of the village. |

fish and game do not represent animals.they represent people and hunters. wild accusation with no proof. it's always the wolf that is the culprit. the real vermin is of the two legged kind.

revenge is what it is about.wolves that were 15 miles away killed that woman.people put their lives at risk then they blame it on the wolves.DNA? they would have put the wolves down without any evidence. feral dogs is what killed that woman. feral dogs kill cattle and they blame it on the wolves.wolves are afraid of people.
