Near Denali National Park, five people were injured in an explosion at the Cantwell Chevron gas station Sunday night.

Initial reports from State Troopers say there are no suspicious circumstances involved in the explosion. But the Anchorage Fire Marshal is on the scene today investigating.

Samuel Allan, one of the employees at the Chevron, was thrown across the room and injured, but still managed to save the lives of four other people.

Another employee was flown to Seattle today with serious burns. The gas pumps did not burn in the fire that followed the explosion, but the store was totally destroyed.
