Do you have the cutest kitty this side of the Kenai? How about the most darling dog since Lassie? 

Pit your furry friend against Alaska’s most adorable in a contest of whiskers and wet noses.

If you think you have the cutest pet around, enter Fluffy or Spot into the Cutest Pet Photo Contest sponsored by Mat-Su Animal Care. There’s no cost to pet parents to enter and winners are eligible for prizes.

E-mail a photo, up to 8” x 10”, to carol.vardeman@matsugov.us or bring it directly to Mat-Su Borough Animal Care Facility by March 16 located at 9470 E. Chanlyut Circle (between the Central Landfill and the new Recycle Center) in Palmer, Alaska.

Hours of operation: 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Voting will take place at the Mat-Su Borough Animal Care Facility on March 17.

Adoptable pets will be available at a discounted rate.  Also, there will be an on-site photographer to snap a free St. Patrick’s Day photo of you with your newest furry family member.
