A prostitution sting leads to the arrest of a police officer.

According to the Anchorage Police Department, which conducted the sting with the FBI, Lt. Daniel Schrader with the Ted Stevens International Airport Police and Fire Department was arrested at about 8 p.m. Thursday night for solicitation of a prostitute.

An APD spokesperson says Shrader was cited and released, and his car was towed.

Ted Stevens International Airport Manager John Parrott said Shrader "has been placed on administrative leave. It is under investigation. Because there's a criminal and personnel investigation, there's not much about this incident we can comment on."
