Every Thursday KTVA CBS 11 heads down to Anchorage Animal Care & Control to meet our Pet of the Week.

Meet Frankie.  He’s a big cat with a bit of an identity crisis.

We all know he’s a cat, but don’t tell it to Frankie. Between walks on his leash, rounds of chasing lasers and playing shortstop, this cat may have picked up some puppy DNA.

"He may be a dog in cat’s clothing," laughed Brooke Taylor of Anchorage Animal Care & Control.

But at the end of the day, Frankie’s inner cat comes out and all he wants is someone to cuddle.

“As soon as you start rubbing on his head…he'll cuddle up into your arms like this, and you just can't help it…You just fall for him,” said Brooke.

Frankie is a neutered tabby and is only $62, which includes his vaccinations and microchip.
