The Men’s Health Magazine ranked the city of Anchorage as the 10th most serene metropolis in the United States.

The magazine looked at 100 cities and compared statistics for time spent in traffic, aggravated assaults, high blood pressure, and anger-management specialists.

The only city to receive an A+ rating is Burlington, Vermont, number one on the list.

Lincoln, Nebraska comes in second with an A rating.

Anchorage was rated as tenth with an A-.

The least serene and, therefore, angriest city is Detroit, Michigan with an F. Baltimore, Maryland, the second most irritated city, also got an F rating.

That's great about my hometown (Anchorage), but really sad about my present residence (Baltimore). Will have to work on that!

It was great to read about you folks in anchorage playing softball in the snow. I was looking on the net for a particular type of snowshoe when I came across this article. I grew up in S. Texas and married a gal who grew up in Indiana, but was born in anchorage. She said that they went back a couple of times as she got a little older and it was just beautiful
