The ribbon was cut Thursday afternoon for a new business in Vermillion, South Dakota.

The oil boom in North Dakota opened up a new market for Builder’s Choice, an Alaska-based modular building manufacturer. The company has already hired over 30 people at its Vermillion operation and expects to add about 30 more employees within the next year.

South Dakota’s governor said the relationship between his state and Builder’s Choice is mutually beneficial.
