Just before 9:30 a.m, the Anchorage Police Department responded to the death of a 3-year-old boy.

Just before 9:30 a.m, the Anchorage Police Department responded to the death of a 3-year-old boy.

The toddler appears to have suffered at least one self-inflicted gunshot wound. A loaded gun was apparently left on the TV stand of the family's Midtown home.

Both parents are currently under investigation.
