It's quite an accomplishment to complete a marathon, but how about a marathon each day?

Mountaineering instructor Matt Montavon is running more than one thousand miles from Deadhorse to Homer to raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Wednesday, Montavon crossed Goose Lake in Anchorage off the list of places he's run through.

Nearly one month and hundreds of miles in, Montavon says the days are all starting to blur together.

“I'm not really sure what day it is today, but I've tried to knock out 30ish miles a day or so. I've had a couple of hang ups and, you know, now here I am,” he said.

Montavon is hoping to raise $10,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project.

Will there be a new story when he finishes? How much money has he raised?
