ALASKA - Tuesday night musher Dallas Seavey made history, crossing the Iditarod finish line just before 7:30 with a team of 9 dogs.

He's now the youngest person to win the race – he turned 25 while on the trail.

According the official website for the Iditarod, 41-year-old Aliy Zirkle crossed the finish line at Nome exactly one hour behind Seavey at 8:29 p.m.

Ramey Smyth was also into Nome; he got there about 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
