Murkowski On State Epidemic Of Suicide

Senator Lisa Murkowski talks about youth suicide, a new federal threat to small businesses in Alaska, and the reducing the national deficit.

Alaska's suicide rate was at the heart of a listening session attended by Senator Lisa Murkowski at the 2011 Alaska Federation of Natives Convention held in downtown Anchorage in October.
Murkowski says she is working to get more grant money into rural areas to combat the problem.
The senator also talks about a decision by the small business adminstration to remove 4 Alaska areas from the list of regions qualifying for economically depressed funding, known as the HUBZone program.
