Miss Alaska 2014 takes the stage on Daybreak

ANCHORAGE –

Recently crowned Miss Alaska performed on Daybreak Wednesday morning.

Malie Delgado, a South High School graduate and University of Alaska Anchorage student, won the 2014 Miss Alaska Pageant on May 30 in Anchorage.

Her talent is singing, while her platform is “Prevention of Drunk Driving.”

Delgado previously appeared on Daybreak after winning the Great Alaskan Talent Competition at Fur Rondy.

Delgado will compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City this September.
