ANCHORAGE – A 25-year-old man who held up a local grocery store with a BB gun Tuesday morning faces charges ranging from assault to robbery, police said.
According to a statement from the Anchorage Police Department, Mandallo Shearrod entered the Carrs store on Gambell Street around 9:30 a.m. and began loading items into a bag. When a clerk asked Shearrod to use a shopping cart, he brandished the gun.
