61-year-old Richard C. Leo of Trapper Creek and his four dogs died when his car slid on a snowy road sideways into an oncoming shuttle bus
ANCHORAGE – Alaska State Troopers have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle collision Monday near Talkeetna.
Troopers in a web posting say 61-year-old Richard C. Leo of Trapper Creek and his four dogs died when his car slid on a snowy road sideways into an oncoming shuttle bus. The accident happened just after 8 a.m. on the Talkeetna Spur Highway.
Troopers say the shuttle, which didn’t have any passengers, T-boned Leo’s car on the passenger side. Leo and the four dogs were pronounced dead at the scene.
The shuttle driver was not injured.
Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol are investigating.
