Trooper Spokesperson Beth Ipsen says late Dec. 24 an Anchorage business contacted AST and told them Selle was in Anchorage and staying at a hotel. Based on the information troopers believe she is OK, however troopers had not actually contacted her as of Christmas Day afternoon. Ipsen says troopers are not worried for her safety, but are following up and contacting her to make sure.
Selle was last known to be at her residence on the Palmer-Fishhook Road sometime around noon on Dec. 22. She was reported as missing to AST on the evening of Dec. 23.
AST's helecopter Helo 1 flew over the Palmer area trying to spot the brightly clothed Selle who was reportedly wearing a bight pink snowsuit, red hat and red gloves.
That prompted Alaska State Troopers to ask the public for assistance in locating Selle on Christmas Eve.
