Its time to control the wolf population in all states, they are a killer of livestock and wildgame and now humans, the right to shoot them on sight is needed to control there population and keep there numbers in check.the wolfs in idaho arent even a native species to idaho, there larger than are native wolfs, and have exterminated them, there devastating are moose population too
This is the dumbest, by far, I've read sofar. It should NEVER be questioned who should do this or who should do that when it gets to a wild dead animal anywhere in the city limits let alone your own yard. It SHOULD be a FREE situation in any case such as this by the city. If the City does not have city ordinance that says that we, as Alaskans, cannot find a dead moose in our yard then the City or State of Fish and Wildlife, the State Troopers are the ones that should handle any situation like this to dispose of wild game anywhere. There is no rule of policy how a wild game dies anywhere in the first place, let alone your own yard.
Perhaps Todd was simply ignorant of the Venezeuela connection of this sponsor and was just happy to have the support. Now that it has been brought to light it will be interesting to see if Mystic is still a sponsor next year.
Make ADF&G remove them. If it costs too much they always can lengthen the MOOSE hunting season to reduce their own administrative expenses. I detest the SOB's who build big herds in urban areas without any responsibilty for any damage it does to humans. Every year there is death for humans on the highway because of moose overpopulation. The citizens suffer $millions in damage from such collisions in and out of town. And who has money for an 8 foot fence to around an entire yard to keep out problem moose? Perhaps the government should pay for those? ADF&G and the DA never lack for funds to prosecute a hungry citizen but when the moose drops as dead waste in a citizen's front yard, well, the tyrants suddenly "lack funds." I say there ought to be an open season on tyrants. GET OUT OF THE PEOPLE'S FACES. THE COUNTRY BELONGS TO PEOPLE, NOT THE GOVERNMENT.
With most folks shocked at the possibility of wolves killing people, many question how effective the state's controversial predator control program is protecting Alaskans.
