In this week’s KTVA Weather Lab, I visited Ursa Major Elementary School on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, where the third graders are part of military families that come from all over the U.S. and the world. I stopped by to talk to them about weather that can be found nearly everywhere: clouds and precipitation.
I also answered the question of the week about Alaska volcanos.
Every Tuesday, Melissa Frey will take the KTVA Weather Lab to a classroom in our community. If you have a weather question for Melissa or would like her to visit your classroom, she can be reached via email or on Facebook and Twitter.
