Kitchen fire forces restaurant evacuation

TGI Friday's should reopen for dinner

 

ANCHORAGE – Some people eating out Tuesday night had a bit of a scare.

A fire at TGI Friday’s at Tudor Road and C Street forced an evacuation of the restaurant and bar.

A kitchen fire broke out and one of the employees was treated for smoke inhalation.

The restaurant was closed Tuesday tonight for cleanup, but should reopen Wednesday for dinner.
