Kate McPherson

Kate joined the KTVA news team as a reporter in November 2011. She comes to Anchorage from Melbourne, Australia, where she worked as a radio journalist for the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC).
While at the ABC, Kate’s stories focused on the Asia and Pacific region as part of the Radio Australia international department.
Kate earned her Bachelor's Degree at Monash University in Melbourne, where she studied journalism and international relations.
Kate loves her new home in Anchorage and is excited about meeting new people and learning as much as she can about the Last Frontier.
