Building Weatherization and Retrofitting (16 CEU’s)

Not just another cold climate building course. In this course, participants gain practical knowledge of building and/or retrofitting cold climate homes. Topics include basic building science, material selection, building diagnostics, building efficiency strategies, project design, building performance modeling, and systems approaches for new and existing structures. Participants will be able to evaluate the efficacy of new building plans and/or retrofit strategies in meeting high efficiency and durability benchmarks. Participants will also be expected to understand/conduct basic building diagnostics to evaluate building performance.   Instructor: Paul Cotter – Cost $350.00
