Two Arrested in Alleged Seattle Terror PlotThe two suspects appeared in federal court Thursday in tan prison garb and listened as prosecutor recited the charges against them. Detention hearings were set for Wednesday.
The two-story building is a former Ford factory from the 1930s converted into offices. The 600 Corps of Engineers employees make up about two-thirds of the people in the building.
The corps held its annual picnic Thursday in an outside portion of the complex. Wright said they decided not to cancel after hearing the good news of the arrests. |

These men are not immigrants, they are criminals. Life in prison sounds good, but usually translates to about 10 years. The percentage of people sentenced to death that are actually executed is about 1%. Perhaps if life meant life, and death meant death people would think twice before committing violent crimes. And if not, the number of repeat offenders would drop dramatically.
