ANCHORAGE - The number one cause of death for women in the United States is heart disease.

On Friday, Go Red for Women is celebrating the energy, passion and power women have to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke the power with a luncheon. Lawyer, author, TV personality and heart health advocate Star Jones will join KTVA’s Grace Jang at the event.

Jones joined KTVA Thursday and discussed how she became the Star Jones America knows today.

how did she get to be an attorney...probably the same reason some do...get tired of getting screwed!!! Pay backs are lovely when they are legal...go Star!!!
