Police Say Man Injected Teen with HeroinSean Warner Due in Court TodayThe case of a man police say injected a 14 year old with heroin will be heard before a judge today. According to police 26-year-old Sean Warner injected the teen, known only as J.D., in a home on Leighton Street Thursday night. Two witnesses in the home told police they saw Warner take off his belt, use it as a tourniquet, and shoot the girl up. When they checked back on her the next morning, they found she was having trouble breathing. That’s when police say Warner gave J.D another drug Suboxone in an attempt to help her. A couple of hours later, police say, she began convulsing. Police say it took four hours from the time the adults in the house realized the teen was in trouble until they called 911. The girl was taken to Providence Hospital. Testing showed she had heroin, cocaine, met amphetamine and marijuana in her system. She remains in critical condition this afternoon. Warner is currently the only one charged in connection with the overdose. He is also facing theft charges in an unrelated case.
