Former Alaska lawmaker Vic Kohring will not only plead guilty in federal court, he wants to be sentenced right away.

According to federal court documents, Kohring will admit to conspiring to extort money from the former oilfield service company Veco.

He was found guilty of that and other charges in 2007 but the conviction was thrown out upon appeal.

Kohring will be sentenced Friday, Oct. 21, as will Pete Kott who filed a similar change of plea last Friday.
