Habitat For Humanity To Build 20 HomesThe Anchorage Habitat for Humanity is starting up a new three-year project to build more than 20 homes in an East Anchorage neighborhood.
Hundreds of volunteers are expected to help out this summer to construct the homes. The project will be split up into two phases with the first houses to be completed by next spring. “This is an opportunity for us as a community to reach out to people and make a difference in their lives, and it takes a community to do that, " said Peter Perry, a volunteer with a local church. |
