Anchorage Man Indicted for the Murder of his WifeWilliam Michael Dixiano of Anchorage was indicted today for the murder of his wife in April 2010.An Anchorage man has been indicted for the murder of his wife, according to Anchorage District Attorney Adrienne Bachman. William Michael Dixiano, 60, of Anchorage is facing charges of murder in the first and second degree. He was also indicted on one charge of tampering with physical evidence and an additional 14 counts of forgery in the second degree. Assistant District Attorney Clint Campion says the indictment alleges that Dixiano murdered his wife, Angela Dixiano, in April 2010. During the investigation of his wife’s missing persons case, Dixiano was arrested on fraud charges. The new indictment alleges that Dixiano murdered his wife when she threatened to expose his fraud. Anchorage police say he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a local man, Sam Lee. An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. Dixiano’s bail from the fraud charges was set at $100,000, but the state will ask the judge to increase the bail with the additional charges.
