ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police on Wednesday announced the arrest of 24-year-old Airman James Thomas for evidence tampering in relation to the disappearance of Airman Clinton Reeves.

Thomas has been charged with six counts of tampering with physical evidence, and is being called a person of interest in the disappearance of Airman Reeves.

Police say foul play is still suspected in Reeves' disappearance.

Thomas is scheduled to be arraigned at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
