Winter Weather Advisory IssuedMore snow on its wayFirst it was wind, now it's snow. The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Anchorage, Eagle River, Indian and Ekultna from 9pm Wednesday until 9pm Thursday. We're looking at the possibility of up to 18 inches of snow before this system moves out. Isolated snow showers are expected this afternoon with steady snow developing by midnight and not tapering off until Thursday late afternoon. By Friday, the snow should be gone but so will the 20 degree temperatures. Our highs on Friday are expected to be zero to five above. |

If you watch the upper level patterns of the jet stream....its no wonder we're seeing a pattern here......Like snow, but I hate having to move it. I suspect the muni will run out of snow removal funds here real soon. Winter aint over yet.

Good thing we're experiencing Global Warning... just think of how much more snow we would have if we weren't...
