ANCHORAGE - If you're looking for a good price on DVDs and Blu-rays, next weekend you're in for a treat.

Video City on Old Seward, also known as the big red barn, is closing its doors and having a liquidation sale of all its movies.

The Old Seward location has over 20,000 DVDs and Blu-ray discs for sale for $2.50 each next weekend.

After 40 years, owner Jim Ward says he's leased the building to a new family who will turn it into a second hand store.

"We've leased the building and now we're going to consolidate in our other locations. We still have three Video City locations in town; we have one on 72nd and Arctic Boulevard, one on Muldoon Road and another one on Lake Otis and 68th Avenue," Ward said.

In addition to DVDs and Blu-rays, all VHS movies in the shop are on sale for $1.

Next weekend is the last chance to get in on the sale, so you better hurry if you're looking to find your favorite movie.
