Vernell McLemore Arraigned for StabbingMan charged with first-degree murderRelated ContentANCHORAGE – The Anchorage Police Department has made an arrest in the case of a woman who was found stabbed to death in her bathtub. 41-year-old Vernell McLemore was arraigned on first-degree murder charges Friday afternoon. “He being the next door neighbor went into her residence with the intent to rob her and at some point in time there was an altercation,” said Anita Shell, spokesperson for APD. “A knife was produced and he ended up slashing her throat and that's where she died.” According to charging documents, McLemore told a girlfriend that he stabbed Mulder because she refused to give him money, but that after her death he stole her purse. |

I understand the victim was pink with purple polka dots. McLemore was rumored to really hate old ladies that were pink with purple polka dots.

Amen to all of the above. This one to prove that it really only makes the news or the picks the interest of the public if it is a white man attacking a black man. A black man attacking a white, defenseless white person, even a white woman in a bathtub (who could be more defenseless than that, unless it was a child), makes hardly any mention locally, yet again national news. Like you say where is the Sharpton and Jacksons at in this case. I can hardly wait to read the headlines upon his conviction, "Black man sentenced to jail, white woman attacked because she was not wanting to share the hot water".

It's amazing the control media has on people today. Do you people not realize all news reported these days is ratings driven. It's about money and headlines, not color. For the record, more than 80% of whites are killed by other whites, while over 90% of blacks are killed by blacks
