Suspected Arsonist Caught on TapeANCHORAGE – Firefighters are asking for public help identifying the person connected with a Midtown blaze more than a month ago. A trailer and adjacent building at the offices of Neeser Construction were damaged in a fire around 6 a.m. February 26, and Anchorage Fire Department investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. The process involves examining the evidence at the scene and awaiting lab results, and today fire officials said they have another clue. Surveillance camera footage captured an unidentified person crossing the lot to the trailer, where flames appeared several minutes later. The person was recorded wearing jeans, a light blue hooded sweatshirt or jacket and a longer white t-shirt. Firefighters are asking anyone with information on the first suspected arson of 2012 to call Anchorage Crime Stoppers at 907.561.7867. Calls are kept confidential, and anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspected arsonist is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000. |

from the picture it could be speculative and or coincidental, but if it is the suspect, it should be that hard to figure out how tall the person is and given the situation it is probably someone familiar with the area that regularly passes by, most idiots brag about their exploits to get credit in street gangs. i guess you guys will find the perp. in about a week from today, if not in 2 wks.
