Still No Decision on Who Will Investigate Muni Election
Assembly chair will announce investigator soon
By KTVA CBS 11 News

ANCHORAGE - The chair of the Anchorage Assembly, Ernie Hall, said it will be another couple of days before we hear who will investigate the April 3 municipal election.

This person is separate from the law firm announced Friday to advise the assembly on the certification of the election.

The law firm will review the city attorney's views and the election commission report, but Hall said there will still be another person named to look deeper into the ballot shortage and other issues that plagued the election.

This separate report will not be taken into account when the assembly meets this week to decide on whether or not to certify the election.
