Unfortunately some in the Senate haven't a clue on how business works.If we don't put more oil in the pipeline soon, Alaska will change drastically.

Embarrassed to be an Alaskan, with clueless people being voted into office. 2 choices: zero profit for Alaska, when projects are finished & TAPS right-of-way is gone; OR, approve the tax incentive so we can continue our major industry, and have a PROFIT. Kiss your PFD and budget SURPLUSES goodbye forever, because once industry moves their money (and jobs) elsewhere, they are NOT going to spend the money to come back. So - kill our state off if you kill this tax incentive. And then - do us all a favor - and leave Alaska as soon as possible, before you cause further harm to my home.

@ Anonymous 11:06AM The Senate obviously has more sense than you, and thats why YOU dont make the big decisions. I support the Senate President Because HE, unlike the state house of Rep.s, Has ALL our interest to think of; Not just the "sky is falling" rhetoric that the OIL LAPdogs Govenor Parnell, & Lt. Govenor Treadwell are pushing. If they would like to represent BIG OIL,then they are in the wrong JOB! They work for THE PEOPLE! And 'kill our state'!!!??? AS IF!!! The big oil boys KNOW how long our reserves will be VIABLE!!! And to TAKE MORE of our $$MONEY$$ after getting $2 Billion of tax breaks FOR MAINTAINING THE TAPS!!!! THEY WANT MORE!! Leave ALASKA?? Go on the plane,boat,train, ferry; WHATEVER it takes to get you AWAY from REASONABLE Alaskans; So when we create our own oil corporation, make sure you STAY where ever it IS YOU LEFT TOO!!!! (BACK home to Cali....)
