State Drops All Charges in Fairbanks '241' Militia CaseThe decision is based on a recent court ruling that keeps prosecutors from using secret FBI recordings made without a search warrant.
UPDATED at 11:45 a.m.
FAIRBANKS - The state of Alaska is dismissing all charges against five Fairbanks-area defendants in the “241” murder conspiracy case. Federal charges against four of the defendants remain in place. The decision is based on a recent court ruling that keeps prosecutors from using secret FBI recordings made without a search warrant. The charges against militia leader Schaeffer Cox and the others cannot be refiled in state court, Assistant District Attorney Dwayne McConnell said. The dismissed charges include many of the most serious charges, including conspiracy to commit murder. State prosecutors had alleged all five defendants were participating in a plan to kill Alaska State Troopers and state court officials. All of the five defendants except Michael O. Anderson remain jailed without bail on separate federal charges. Defendants Karen and Lonnie Vernon are accused of preparing a separate plan to kill a federal judge and IRS staff. Cox and Coleman Barney are accused of possessing illegal weapons including a silencer, a fully automatic rifle and canisters with tear gas and rubber bullets. So Alaska drops charges and let's the Feds prosecute. There is no justice or Constitution left in America. America is a Police State. The message from the government is OBEY, or else.

A man is innocent until proven guilty. We have a rule of law by the constitution. However, the FBI and ATF consistently forget about the constitution. Remember Ruby Ridge and Waco? I don't know if Cox and his group are guilty or not. Warrants are required for a reason.
