On Friday the senate bipartisan working group unveiled it's compromise for the state budget, which is being held in the senate finance committee. It now includes added language to the bill at the request of house members.

Two of the biggest changes include the removal of the 150 dollar-a-barrel trigger language for 100 million dollar projects.

The compromise also removes 200 million dollars in deferred school maintenance costs requested by the house.

Overall spending was cut from 2.9 billion to 2.7 billion dollars, leaving room for the house to add projects while still meeting the governor's requested cap of 2.8 billion.

Senate leaders believe they've offered a significant compromise in their latest capital budget proposal, whether or not house members agree, will be up for discussion on Monday.
