Small Quake Felt from Anchorage to Big Lake

A late morning earthquake slightly shakes Southcentral Alaska.

A small earthquake could be felt largely across Southcentral Alaska Thursday morning shortly after 11 a.m. The quake clocked in with a modest 5.2 magnitude rumble centered 50 miles southwest of Anchorage, according to reports from the National Weather Service West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.

No instances of damage caused by the quake have been reported.

Actually, the quake was felt from Talkeetna to Seldovia.
