If you have room in your home or your heart for a new dog you may want to meet some of the new arrivals at the SPCA, in Anchorage.

The SPCA recently took on four sled dogs from a Big Lake man who asked for help.

The dogs are in great shape and now available for adoption.

Workers say they get along well with other dogs and would be perfect pets for the right people.

“They are going to need a little bit of work but so far they are doing great so we are just waiting for those people with big hearts to come in and find their forever companion,” said SPCA Manager Lizz Gray.

The SPCA is located on Arctic and requires an application with references before they adopt out a animal. If you’d like more information you can give them a call at 344-3622.
