Begich wants to stay in office so he will do what it takes to try to move up in seniority in the senate. His allegiance is on record though so don't think for a moment that he totally "pro-Alaska".

i never have known a democrat that cant spend your money better than you. sounds to me like he wants to be governor so he can spend all the states money and then create a state income tax. watch out alaska.
